An Open Letter to Thank my Teacher
Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, calibre, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me- Dr APJ Abdul Kalam
In our country, former President Dr. Teachers' Day is being celebrated on the birth anniversary of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Teachers' Day was celebrated for the first time in 1962, the year in which Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan assumed his position. On Teacher's Day, here I am writing an open letter to thank all the teachers out there who were there at every stepping stone and who didn’t leave any stone unturned in making our lives successful.
When you hear school what comes to your mind?
School always brings sweet and refreshing memories.
What are these memories made of? Friends of course , but also teachers.
Teachers play a very important role in making school life memorable.
They play a very big part in making school life not only a learning experience but also enjoyable.
Dear Teacher
Teaching is never easy as one has to deal with many students and some of them could be bratty, or even nasty. A good teacher has the power to turn these kids into amazing human beings and make them realize their potential in and outside the classroom. Teachers are one of the most selfless human beings as they always place their students before themselves and selflessly share their abundance of knowledge with students. On top of the abundance of academic preparation, a teacher also prepares you for life. They teach us how to deal with different situations and teach us everything takes time, teaches us patience ,perseverance and helps us in building a character for ourselves. They almost become our role model,a confidant.
Teachers are the people who believe in you and understand you beyond your academic performance and understand what you are really made to do. Sometimes even parents can not see beyond academics, that's where a good teacher comes into play. They recognise your potential and push you towards that even if it is creative ,sports or any other field. A good teacher is able to see your future and pushes you in that direction.
I look back on that time as important in the development of the person I am today. You taught me discipline. You taught me dignity. Much more than the things you taught me that I could achieve more than what I or other people thought. I'm most grateful to my teacher for the small advice, vote of encouragement ,the push when needed, has made me what i'm today. Having teachers who care is the single most under-recognized privilege we students have. For that, thank you.
